Instructional Technology Resource Centre

The Instructional Technology Resource Centre (ITRC) is a free resource for instructors who are looking for assistance in integrating technology into their lectures and/or course sites.

Faculty/instructors use the ITRC for OWL support; instructors can also propose special instructional projects to be created in partnership with the ITRC student consultants. Projects may require the use of images, sound, animation, video, programming, and a variety of web-based applications.

The ITRC invests in the latest hardware and software technologies to provide updated support and modern design. The hardware and software is for the use of the ITRC and eLearning Technology staff but some photography and video equipment is available for faculty to borrow. The hardware and software which is used in the ITRC is listed on the Current Hardware and Software page. The ITRC also has a robust production environment, including a lighting rig and several screens for photography and filming.

The ITRC is located in the Support Services Building, room 4320 and is open Monday - Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm. Faculty and Staff are encouraged to use the ITRC's drop-in support for in-person assistance.
