eLearning Toolkit Evaluation Rubric
The evaluations you see on tools found within this toolkit were conducted by members of the WTS eLearning Team and the Centre for Teaching and Learning. Evaluations are intended to aid readers in quickly assessing the qualities of a particular tool in meeting pedagogical, technical, and social aspects of teaching and learning through effective use of technology.
Evaluations were conducted based on a Rubric for eLearning Tool Evaluation developed by the team. The rubric consists of eight categories and twenty-seven sub-categories, each with three levels of quality:

Minor ConcernsAn indicator that there is an aspect in that (sub)category that may be of concern with regards to its use for teaching and learning. |

Serious ConcernsAn indicator that the tool fails to meet standards in that (sub)category in a way that will have negative consequences for instructors and/or students |

Not ApplicableAn indicator that the tool is not intended to accomplish the goals of a particular category. |
