How to use Content Delivery Tools
To deliver content, instructors can use a large variety of tools including OWL, public webpages, blogs, social media tools, virtual classrooms and content sharing programs. All types of files may be shared using these tools. Some of the most popular file types include: doc, pdf, jpeg, png, gif, mp4, mp3, and html. Instructors should always try to use universal file types that are accessible by all students (For example: Text documents: .pdf, .txt, Image files: .jpeg, Video files: .mp4, Audio files: .mp3, Web pages: .html). Instructors can choose tools that suits their course goals and structure. Instructors can decide whether to have the content secured by a login (ie. OWL) or freely available.
